ASTRA is one of the very few places in modern Mykonos that retains the feeling and the atmosphere of the romantic 60΄s and the glittering 70΄s. Designed and build by Minas, a world renowned artist and jewelry designer who himself adores the bright light and simple lines, ASTRA strikes you with its red bougainvilleas growing against white walls, the Aegean-blue painted shutters , the simple yet elegant interior and the ceiling resembles  which resembles the celestial dome of an Observatory. For the redecoration of the outdoor space of the renowned bar, the Astra team collaborated with Oikos selecting two of our favorite and classic outdoor products. Jacob armchair designed by Frankveg, made out of anodized aluminium and textililne mesh, is a new product by Spanish Indecasa that matched beautifully with the outdoor aesthetics of the bar and the remaining tables. Similarly, Mr. H bench designed by Joan Casas is a 100% anodised aluminum product that with its clear lines and discreet elegance worked amazingly well in the ambience of the Myconian bar.
