A vacation house in Avlemonas village in Kithira island is one of the latest projects of Valentini Kaimaki. The architectural office collaborated with Maya Zafeiropoulou who took up the furnishing and decoration of it and for us it was again a great opportunity to add some decorative details in a residence that was intentioned to have a Mediterranean allure and an island aesthetic combining these elements with the local traditional architectural style. Our Colimbo lamps made of iron mesh and cotton fabric with hand weaved patterns were a perfect option for the internal space of the house with their fish trap-inspired rounded forms working great with the rest of structural and geometric elements in the room, among which our Box stools by Big Game made by folded lacquered aluminium in light grey.
Another product in grey, our Beton lamp is featured in the bedroom of the house in Avlemona and adds a distinctive and discreet detail in the minimal decoration of the room.
For the external space of the village house, we chose our Bistro Rectangular table by Fermob in cotton white, a folding table that matches perfectly with our Bistro metal chairs. 19th century French style suits great in the outdoor area of the house, plus both these two products are weather proof!
Another piece with classic French allure at the house’s patio is our Opera Square table, here chosen in turquoise giving a unique and colourful decorative touch along with our Louvre chairs in the same colour. Unrivalled comfort and a touch of unique charm with both these two pieces by Fermob!
