Reichenbach is a famous German porcelain manufacturer founded in 1830 which teamed up with Paola Navone 11 years ago and launched gorgeous china. The latest collaboration with the renowned Italian designer who has a particular talent for rediscovering design from the past and bringing it to life in new, contemporary forms brought the Taste collection, full of broad, swung borders, which extend its “Neobarock” examples into abstraction. All the unglazed pieces of this collection which contains for the first time cups and saucers for espresso, tea and coffee are handmade, absolutely hotel suitable and their common characteristic is the broad, graphic-abstract contoured edges. Navone’s pieces elevate even a casual lunch to a special experience and we couldn’t resist but choosing them for our new collection of products at Oikos this Spring!
The only decorative element on the saucers is a precious bead relief on the edges while the handles of the cups reach into the inside of the cups and form another highlight and the perfect addition to the abstract shapes of the plates!
