Antonino Sciortino used to be a choreographer before he decided to transform his lyrical side into interior design. The Milan-based artist/designer particularly works with a specific type soft iron, which is relatively pliable and malleable and thus easier to work with, allowing him to evolve his creative imagination and embody in soft lines and fluid shapes his imaginations and his “dancing shadows”.
For Belgian Serax, he has designed side tables and iron bowls with pure forms, vintage tinted looks and finish. Among this range of products is Ociuci, a bowl inspired by external stimuli that led the designer to create this piece by hand. Minor irregularities and diferring hues are inherent part of a product that is available in many different colours.
