Jean Louis Domeqc first designed them in the 1950’s, aiming to create articulated lamps to adapt for all work stations and robust lamp to withstand many manipulations of the workers. He created his brand Jieldé , a phonetic abbreviation of his own initials JLD. The French brand continues to operate and Domeqc’s classic industrial designs, made from tunnel steel, are manufactured by hand and offer a touch of colour and style in both modern and contemporary spaces. They all have the ability to twist and turn at the joints without conflict to the wiring, as the direct contact inside does not require wires. That allows the lamps to be manipulated in any shape or form desired, even at 180% angle! All Jielde pieces are numbered with a riveted firm plate. Among the collections of these beautiful and highly practical lamps we chose the Gielde floor lamp, two versions of table lamps and also Signal SI300 and Signal SI331 wall lamps which work as a wall spot lamps. Add some original modern and industrial style in your space. All lamps are available in a choice of colours!
