When Achille Castiglioni was designing the Fucsia lamp for FLOS, he mainly wanted to create a light suitable for tables. And he succeeded in creating a pendant that has become a statement piece since 1996 that it was first launched that it was named after fucshia triphylla,which was first discovered on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola.
