One of our favourite pieces of the new diverse Fall 2013-4 collection by Serax Maison D’Être has just arrived in our stores and it’s called Cuerda. Designed in 2013 by Antwerp-based designer Nico Van Dijck, Cuerda is a chair and bench in iron with handspun rope made of polypropylene, a sturdy material that is very comfortable to sit on. Reviving a very familiar furniture design with the classic spinning technique on the seat, Cuerda’s frame comes in white and blue iron and a rope in different colours, resulting to a design piece that has a vintage allure and at the same time it looks so contemporary!
Cuerda works great in any space, both indoor and ourdoor.
