Transparent spheres put together was the main idea based on which designers Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto designed the Caboche collection of lamps for Italian Foscarini. A screen in white satinized blown glass gives maximum diffusion of light in a lighting piece of very high quality and elegance. Whether transparent or gold, made out of polymetylmetacrylate, the 189 spheres multiply with a ring layout the brightness of the central lighting source which is a halogen bulb, permitting the light to be reflected off to the ceiling and onto the surface below. The upper matt white glass screen guarantees optimum diffusion of light upwards, and the lower screen has a concave form to shield the bulb and prevent dazzling. Impressive even in its small versions and multi-faceted, Caboche works great in all home areas, even in your bathroom!
The pendant version of Caboche comes with halogen or LED light. We also love the floor and table versions!
