The extruded aluminium as a leit motiv for a collection of products that renowned Munich-based designer Konstantin Grcic was commissioned to created for Spanish design company BD Barcelona.

The Bench B was based on and inspired by the iconic Barcelona chair by Mies van der Rohe and its crossing legs of the 1929 original are one of the features that prove that.

It is for public and domestic use, from a very short one-seater side chair, to a long bench up to six meters long for 8 people.

It can be for indoor or outdoor, it can have arms or not, it can be upholstered or left pure aluminium. Flexible and systematic,  Bench B is a kit of parts which can be transformed to very different typologies or bench uses.
