KARTELL, like every year, participated in the Milan Design Week showcasing an installation entitled “La Galleria“, structured to emulate that of the famous galleria vittorio emanuele in Milan, known for its luxury retail stores. Among the new products displayed was a new collection by renowned designer Philippe Starck, “Aunts and Uncles“, comprised of five designs. The “Uncle Jack” sofa, “Uncle Jim” armchair, “Uncle Jo” chair, “Aunt Jamy” dining table and the “Aunt Maggie” console.

This new range of products is the technological interpretation of memories the designer had of his uncles and aunts sitting in their armchairs and sofas. Using injection molding technology, Starck created all these new pieces in transparent polycarbonate. Can’t wait for them to be produced and be available for sale!
