Floral shapes and new use of material were the initial point of experimentation for renowned designer Patricia Urquiola when she took up the design of a new chaise longue for Italian Moroso. Two layers of material, felt and cloth with polyurethane foam were the base for an haute couture seat, named “Antibodi”. Realizing bright colors, innovative materials and sophisticated stitching with 3D details, the chaise longue has a design that really blossoms from a “cellular” genesis of petals sewn in triangular shapes creating ample patterns.
The cover creates two very different and striking moods: with the petals facing upwards for a more unconventional, feminine version; or facing downward for a deliberately severe, quilted look. The two sides are available in black and white, or a natural tone matched with a kaleidoscopic patchwork.
The base of Antibodi is in stainless steel and the glides in PVC. Its structural cover is available in fabric or leather bonded with polyurethane foam and mesh.
Antibodi can definitely work great also in your balcony, garden or terrace!
