Gandia Blasco‘s age-old craft for Gan Rugs, one of our top brands at Oikos, has been showcased in various design exhibitions this Fall, presenting its various collections and expanding its collaborations with contemporary design brands. In September, the Mangas Space collection by Patricia Urquiola has been exposed in the “open working days” of Mutina Factory. GAN have been present in this attractive expositive space along with Moroso, Flos and other influential design companies that we also represent at Oikos.

Few weeks later, Gan Rugs collaborated with Haworth at Orgatec 2014 in Cologne, Germany, in a special feature entitled Craft of Spacemaking” with the handmade rugs design of Patricia Urquiola. Haworth’s presence at orgatec 2014 was a showcase of the ways in which people are living and working today, through a stand 100% Patricia Urquiola. The feature included her handmade rug collections designed for GAN, proposing various office scenarios that could be adapted for a range of assignments and collaborative activities.

GAN also participated in the Independent Design Festival of Turin as a guests to the meet “Made in & Design: a strong winning connection”.
