CREAID is a newly established non-for-profit organization that serves the fundamental principles of mutual respect and human dignity. Marina Vernicos, the president of the organization that will use creation to aid those in need, invited 200 people, the majority of which are artists, entrepreneurs and journalists, to design their own unique Tote Bag. The response was overwhelmingly positive and the first Creaid event was a Tote Bag auction, the proceeds of which will be used to purchase a mobile medical unit for the Greek Chapter of “Médecins du Monde” (www.mdmgreece.gr), a global organization of volunteers that provide healthcare to unprivileged people. The auction took place on April 1st at One Athens (www.oneathens.gr).
