Last month, furniture designer Floris Hovers presented a series of handmade metal toys during Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and attracted a lot of media and market attention. After DogHouse and BirdTable, Italian manufacturing company Magis immediately chose to include the Arche Toys of the Dutch designer in its range of products asking him to make new styles for it! Made of steel extrusions and wheel bearings for the wheels, the Arche Toys have recognizable forms and colours used to design motor vehicles.  There is an underlying sentiment towards past times in these designer pieces which are appealing to adults as much as children!
