Fondation ANO KATO takes place in a house that contains four artists and two couples. Manolis Baboussis and Lydia Dambassina are artists living and working in Athens, while James Bridle and Navine G. Khan-Dossos are artists recently arrived in the city. Their positions are all different but while living under one roof their conversations, coffees and glasses of wine have inspired dialogue and discussion, and encouraged mutual support and criticism. They all share an interest in order and chaos, the vertical and horizontal, the local and the international. Fondation Ano Kato opens the doors to this house and these studios to share the work in progress and open up the dialogue further.
